It has been evident how capable she is to lead our country. With all the accusations being thrown at her lately, Poe handled them gracefully and strategically. She did not react on an impulse; which is a good thing. I have heard in the news the impulsive responses of the other candidates and to be honest, it made me question their capability. For the position of Vice President, I want Santiago. She knows what we need. She is not affair to express her opinion on the contemporary issues. I don't get the "selfish vibe" from her. Vice President: Chiz Ezcudero because he is young, energetic and full of ideas. I believe that he is capable of giving a voice from the younger generations.

Reason: if he is able to make Davao, which is located in Mindanao, one of the safest places on earth. If he can make Davao a better place, I believe that he could make the country a better place to live in.
VICE PRESIDENT: Miriam Defensor
Reason: She's a woman with extraordinary views and points on how she sees issues. With her vision and confidence, I believe that her plans will truly help the Philippines to progress.

ReplyDeleteI would pick Grace Poe as president because I think she is a great leader because she seems to be sincere in everything that she does and she really cares for the people in the Philippines. I would pick Miriam Defensor Santiago because I think she is a strict person and Grace Poe doesn't seem so strict so both of them will work great together.

As much as I want them to be able to instil discipline on us Filipinos, I believe that they can be able to fulfil the promises that they make to their people. It is true that we have to be disciplined, but seeing our leaders failing to accomplish their goals is what makes us lose faith in them. However, in the two candidates I chose, I see something else in them. Mayor Duterte has already showed his worth as he led Davao. Thanks to his efforts, Davao is one of the safest cities in our country, and I can say that Davao is flourishing. I think that he could be a better president than Marcos did. I'm fully aware that former President Marcos left a negative legacy among us Filipinos, but he did manage to discipline the Filipinos back then, and we were even one of the rising tigers in Asia in terms of economy back then that everyone felt it. It's just because of the corruption, and I'm placing my hopes on these two candidates to be able to lead our country to make us more prosperous.
