Who's gonna rule Malacanang Palace soon?

Last night some of my closest friends both from the academe, law school and high school friends gathered together at Festival mall in Alabang to celebrate my birthday.  It was actually a surprise since I was just expecting that we will just be three or four but it turned out that they were six plus myself, seven all in all.  We had a simple dinner at sbarro with serving of pizza, pasta and the like. One of my friends works in the government and he shared with us the lattest news he got in view of the upcoming 2016 presidential and vice-presidential elections.  Since Grace Poe last night finally announced her candidacy plans as a presidentiable and her rumored VP Chiz Escudero has finally signified his intentions of being her running mate, it seems that the strongest contender for this most awaited political national race has been sealed.  But wait, my friend who works in the government told us that Mar Roxas' team, after that announcement of Grace Poe-Chiz Escudero tandem is 'cooking' something equally strong and controversial: It's not anymore Mar-Vilma Santos tandem nor Mar-Allan Peter Cayetano but, hold your breath, the new tune now is: Mar-Pnoy Aquino or Mar-Kris Aquino!  Let's wait and see as to the confirmation of this juicy news from my friend, but as to whom shall I vote as of this writing, I will still prefer Duterte for president and as to my VP, it will definitely not Kris Aquino!  My esteemed professor in Political Law review class last Wednesday night seemed to know in advance about this Mar-Kris Aquino tandem as he told us that we will be surprised when Grace Poe announces her plans of running for the presidency since the Mar Roxas team have powerful back-ups as well, and I guess the Mar-Aquino tandem would surely be controversial enough, whether it would be the current president Aquino or her sister who will be Roxas' running mate.

  1. Pres: Grace Poe
    Vice Pres: Miriam Defensor Santiago

Based on news i rarely glance at, i more or less see more information about Binay and Grace Poe. Grace Poe seems overly idealistic, but the intentions are hopefully decent. And Poe at this moment did not get roasted in front of an audeince.

  2. President: Roxas
After having read up on some articles on the current candidates for presidency, I decided on Roxas as my choice.
Mostly because, Binay has way too many corruption charges against him to make him anything near a reliable pres.
And Grace Poe hasnt done anything all that remarkable or news worthy since the previous elections, so she's out as well.
There's also the fact that Roxas served as many government positions previously, so his previous experience puts him in a good light for me.

    VP: Chiz
And for VP, I picked Francis "Chiz" Escudero based off the opinions of others.
