The Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation met in the Philippines
this year, I think that this is good for the country and its people because it
shows people how beautiful our country is. And it may draw people in which will
help our economy. In the APEC meet they talked about the different strategies
that we can use to help our economy grow. This will help us because we will be
able to lessen poverty Something that I think that needs to be addressed is
that electricity shortage that some places in the Philippines are experiencing,
some places even don't have light where they live. We everyday use electricity
and some say it would be hard to live without it, especially now as a junior
student in zobel we are under the Pearl Program and learning for us requires
electricity and wifi. Some people living in the provinces here in the
Philippines don't have access sources of light during some parts of the day.
There could be more brownout which could last even longer, this will not be good
on APEC CHALLENGES, VIS-A-VIS; FREEDOM AND CONSCIENCE (Term 2)
