FREEDOM AND CONSCIENCE

The APEC caused quite a stir in the Philippines, not only within the population, but also within the government. People questioned many decisions made by officials regarding the activity, and most complained about the traffic that was caused. Though many problems may have been highlighted during this time, I must say that APEC also had many benefits for the country. The many economic and business agreements that occurred potentially boosted the advancement of the country. We also proved to ourselves as a nation of the potential we have to be a disciplined country. I learned that in order to be successful in such a project, we must be open and cooperative with one another. Communication is key. As a teenage citizen in the Philippines, I have been raised in a very technologically infused environment. Though I am not directly affected by this problem, the electricity distribution problem in the Philippines may limit the usage of technology in the rural on APEC CHALLENGES, VIS-A-VIS; FREEDOM AND CONSCIENCE (Term 2)
