This gospel is telling us that during the time that Jesus
was here,he was given a mission and a task by God to spread the good news to
everyone and proclaim his name so that we could be blessed, anointed, and
forgiven. And in this gospel Jesus started fulfilling his mission by spreading
the good news to everyone in the synagogue, and this is an example which we
should follow because starting that day that the people heard the good news, the
task or mission of Jesus automatically gets passed on to us which we fulfill by
spreading and passing it on to others.
One of the main point of this gospel is
fulfillment, fulfillment for me is being able to achieve and get the things we
want through hard work.I believe that we don't get everything we want easily,we
have to work for it no matter how hard things get because that is one of our
true purposes in life which is "for us to earn something we must work hard
and we must truly deserve it".But we mustn't only work for the things we
want,we also have to work hard to be able to help and contribute to everyone
around us just like what jesus did where he suffered and accepted all the
painful things they did to him,not for his benefit but for the benefit of us
being saved from our sins. For me the feeling of being able to get something and
help someone because you worked hard and truly earned it is better than you
getting something just because you want it and you are capable to get it
without doing anything. And this is why I believe that fulfillment is basically
working hard both for yourself and everyone around you which benefits everyone
and at the same time gets you closer with God.
So in conclusion this gospel talks about fulfillment and how
we should follow the steps of Jesus because one day these two things are the
thing that would help us move forward,go on with our lives, and walk towards the
right path.So the message of this gospel to us is the way to fulfill something
and follow Jesus is by putting hard work before everything else and using hard
work to help everyone around us.
