Tala Gil - JH - 12
We all have goals and aspirations even though we don’t see
them yet. When we have no goals, it somehow makes us feel like we have no
purpose in life, which is not a good feeling. It can make us feel lazy and
unmotivated to do good when in reality, we should channel that negative energy
into something productive. There is something that feels absolutely amazing
when we finally fulfil a goal and influence others to do productive actions
too.
From what I understood from this gospel, it gave a clear
message on what Jesus’ goals were and what he did in order to achieve them.
Personally, I’d like to believe that this scripture was written to help others
be motivated to work for their goals just like Jesus Christ did - with hard
work and genuine care. He did all that he could to spread the word of the Lord
(our Father) to the general public wholeheartedly. As Christians, we are
encouraged and expected to apply those teachings to our daily lives so that we
can inspire others to be more Christ-like as well. We must focus on being the
group of people who make others happy with our presence.
To be completely honest, I was quite confused when I first
read this gospel. After reading it several times and reflecting, though, I was
able to somehow find a clear connection and message from this gospel and relate
it to real life. We are all born with a purpose just like Jesus Christ was. We
all have goals and aspirations that may not be clear to us just yet, but with
proper guidance and care, our path will unfold soon enough. It is just up to us
to figure that out.
