“Words Are Meant to Be Shared”

“Words Are Meant to Be Shared”

We live in a world where our everyday lives are always posted in social media. We keep posting and spreading what is happening in our lives and to all of us this has become a norm, a norm which actually is not healthy. This is related to the gospel because the gospel talks about spreading God’s word but in today’s word we spread pictures of our food, where we are, etc, and to God this does not matter what we should really be sharing to the world is His word to all of us.

Jesus was sent here to our world because our ancestors were pretty stubborn when it comes to following God’s law. Jesus mission was to spread his Father’s word and He did this with the help of his disciples. When Jesus died He transferred this mission to spread God’s word to us, His disciples. I believe that we should follow this mission, for I know we were created for that sole purpose to be stewards and messengers of Christ. One real life experience I can give you of fulfilling that mission to spread God’s word is what Sir Cloyd is making us do every CL time which I believe is a big step in teach Lasallians how to fulfill His mission. Instead of the normal gospel reading plus teacher greet before CL starts, sir Cloyds has asked us to share or give a brief homily in conjunction with the Gospel read. This is a very very good practice since we are already sharing God’s word and it comes out straight from our hearts.

We are merely messengers and stewards of this world but we will be rewarded when Jesus Christ comes again that is why starting now we should be spreading His word so others will start doing the same and the world will be a batter place because God’s words is dwelling in all of us. Spread God’s word in as simple ways as you can is what the gospel right now wants to tell us. No matter how big or small step you take in fulfilling your mission of being a prophet that is already a big thing for God. Words are meant to be shared most importantly, God’s word.
