Let go and let God
Beatrix Longa JI
Everyone has their own goals and fulfillments in life, and
so did Jesus. He just wanted what was good for everyone. He accepted everyone
despite everything that happened to him. What he did for us, was a sacrifice,
which gave us the gift of life. Jesus gave everything he had to all of us human
beings, and that’s what we should do to. We are all God’s children. We are all
followers of Christ therefore, we must do what Jesus wants us to do-we must
follow his teachings and spread God’s love.
How often do we stop and think about how blessed we are for
having the gift of life? How often do we thank God for everything he has given
us? In my opinion, we are not giving enough. When Jesus was resurrected, he
preached to everyone and spread the good news. He helped the poor and the sick.
There are many people out there who are in need of great help. They have no
food to eat, or a place to sleep in. Yet sometimes we complain about how we
don't get things our way. Faith and thankfulness is something we lack. So much
people nowadays tend to just go on with their lives and don't think about the
lord and others. In fact, a great number of people, including myself, wouldn't
appreciate his gifts for us, but think we should put a stop to this. This
gospel opens up your mind and tells you that we should care and help for others
and fulfill what God wants us to do. It is a reminder that we are his children
and have our own job to do. We are in God’s image and likeness therefore we
must be like him and committed.
When listening to the word of God, your mind comes with
great realizations. This is proof that God gives us an open mind and that he
will always be there for us. If he is always there for us, we should always be
there for Him. In the gospel it said that lord is upon us and he anointing to
bring good tidings to the poor which is exactly what I think we are all called
to do. My words would be to let go and let God.
