JUNIOR-D 1ST SUNDAY GOSPEL REFLECTION PAPER

January 24, 2016 Sunday Gospel                        Lk 1:1-4;4:14-21

Since many have undertaken to compile a narrative of the events
that have been fulfilled among us,
just as those who were eyewitnesses from the beginning
and ministers of the word have handed them down to us,
I too have decided,
after investigating everything accurately anew,
to write it down in an orderly sequence for you,
most excellent Theophilus,
so that you may realize the certainty of the teachings
you have received.

Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit,
and news of him spread throughout the whole region.
He taught in their synagogues and was praised by all.

He came to Nazareth, where he had grown up,
and went according to his custom
into the synagogue on the sabbath day.
He stood up to read and was handed a scroll of the prophet Isaiah.
He unrolled the scroll and found the passage where it was written:
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he has anointed me
to bring glad tidings to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives
and recovery of sight to the blind,
to let the oppressed go free,
and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord.
Rolling up the scroll, he handed it back to the attendant and sat down,
and the eyes of all in the synagogue looked intently at him.
He said to them,
“Today this Scripture passage is fulfilled in your hearing.”

  1. The Gospel above talks about Jesus. It talks about his impact on the world during the time he was living with us. The gospel tells me that God will always send someone to help us in the times we need him in, like in the times of chaos. He will pass the his role as a missionary to the people that will bring change in our world like the world's leaders. This gospel is vital to us people as it shows on how someone else will accomplish the mission that Jesus has started. The people will do it all for the Lord as it is what we all want. We all want peace and for him to be happy because it will bring goodness to our world.

  2. Listening to the Voice of God
By: Rufus Ryland L. Albano, Junior-D, CN: 5

The Gospel from Luke shows Jesus visiting Galilee, where He was "praised by all," and visiting Nazareth, where He went to the synagogue boldly proclaiming the prophecy of Isaiah which was "fulfilled in your hearing". The Gospel showed that those present "looked intently" at Jesus as he was proclaiming the prophecy, signifying interest and thirst for knowledge.

The Gospel made me realize that I must listen more intently to the Word of God and to the Gospel. I must show more interest, and actually apply and use the message of the Gospel in my daily life, in everything I do and in everything I long for. I've realized that by not listening intently and genuinely to the voice of God, I am missing out on a lot. Not only am I missing words and messages that are applicable to my life, but I am also missing out on the opportunity to nourish and feed my soul.

We must remember that the people around us are put there for a reason, no matter their nature or how annoying and bothersome they may be. We must remember that God works in mysterious ways. Who knows? He may be speaking to us through others. We just have to listen more intently.

  4. Living Like Jesus
    Troy Aguillo, JD, CN:04

The gospel shows who Jesus is. He is the Son of God and He has a mission to save us. Like many people have said, we have to live like Jesus. This is why we also have our mission in our lives and this makes me rethink what I am doing with my life right now.

Jesus had a mission and he succeeded. This is because He did not give in to any temptation, He was not distracted by non-believers, and He was determined to save us. Like him, we should fulfill our own mission in our lives. To do this, we must follow Jesus' teachings. We must also listen attentively to the word of God so we may let it change our lives. However, unlike Jesus, we will sin and give in to temptation. This is okay as long as we ask for forgiveness and we mean it. God is merciful so we should not be afraid to ask for forgiveness. Going back, we need to do our own missions. There are many ways to help. You can be a doctor or a teacher. Even the little good things you do can change other's lives. This is how we can live like Jesus.

In conclusion, to live like Jesus, we must first understand who He really is and what He did for us. We must keep in mind that He sacrificed Himself to save us. In return, we can help in our own little ways. This is one thing we can do to please God so that we can develop our relationship with Him.

  5. Choices in his Solace

This Sunday Gospel only entitles an another witness of the great plans and blessings of God ahead of us. Accordingly, as he stated on his first few verses, he meant to say that he has narrowed down his intentions in life for us already. For indeed, he is God, a powerful man that is here to protect and sketch what is entitled for each one of us. And as Christian, all we have to do is to believe and have that certainty that as long as we are in God’s arms, we find solace.

I am a normal person, experiencing abhorrent and implacable happiness in times that vary. Through the circulation of life, I am able to let myself dig in to new risks and new outcomes. One thing that I have vigorously realised and apprehended in this 15 years of journey of mine is that— all you have to do is to let God and take risks. All the source of these blessings, or even problems that we have faced, facing, and will be attracting is all up to him. All of those arrived for a distinctive time and perfect reason to wake us up from all the things that we have been taking for granted. As a teenage girl, I have confronted a lot of problems and challenging tasks that miraculously, I had survived. Often, I question God, “is this what you really want?” or better off, “is there a real God?”. From these formulated questions that boiled down out of my curiosity while in the process of my own problems, I have seen how inconsistent my faith has been. I believe that many teenagers have gone through this phase; however, one thing’s for sure, I know that despite all this God will keep on writing on my own scroll to uphold what is still in tact for me. Honestly, life is an enigma— there are a lot of mysteries that cannot be elaborated without further experiencing such. We just have to plant to our minds every single second has been planned for us for a betterment of his passage, his words. There can never be a day where we could just let God desolate on his own for he is our only hope of guidance and much more of in attaining a good christian life.

Above all these, we should not only need any gospels to wake us up from the things we have been disregarding because of living in remembering and forgetting about living. Before we even existed, there were thousands of words laid down for each one of us already. All we have to do is to take time to scroll and go through the pages to reach challenges that could either make us strong or characterise us in fervid emotions of weakness— it’s all up to us. We should not just entrust the cause and effect of every scenarios in our lives for our choices are what lead us to the wrong path of God’s promises.

    Amen to the Lord

Jesus said, "Today this Scripture passage is fulfilled in your hearing.” He told us and showed onto us the loving power of The Lord and his presence in the world; also during his homily, a priest once mentioned about using the bible passages in our lives.

In this January 24th Sunday Gospel, as well as many readings and other gospels, Jesus has taught us many things and performed marvelous miracles. In Luke it states "He unrolled the scroll and found the passage where it was written:
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
    because he has anointed me
to bring glad tidings to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives
and recovery of sight to the blind,
to let the oppressed go free,
and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord."
Jesus has shown us the way to righteousness as well as having brought to us the good news. The gospel tells me the Lord is here, and it is good to thank to him for what we have. In addition, the words of Jesus may be used in helping us through life, when there is a tough time in our lives, he has the answer.

In summary, Jesus is our savior. He has done so much and he continues to do much for us. Personally, reflecting on this gospel, doing good works with the word of God pleases the Lord, and what/who we encounter in life including people, things-not-going-your-way & other problems can be met in many ways, but whatever way you choose, remember that Jesus loves you. Amen.

Living by the message of the Lord

This gospel from Luke talks about the return of Jesus to galilee. There he taught and spread the good news of the Lord to the synagogues. Many heard about his return, and he was praised by all. This tells us that that people there were wanting to hear His message to the people.

In this gospel, it tells us that we should all pay attention to the word of God. We should all believe in the Lord, we should never doubt him, we should always put him in our hearts and minds. He took the opportunity in the Gospel to spread the word for us. He always thought about us first, he tried to do everything just to save us from temptation. He suffered and died on the cross just for us to live and continue his mission. Based on my own experiences I have not been truly focused on the message that the church is saying every mass, but with what I have read I should truly change my attitude.

We should all think about what Jesus has done for us. We should listen to the readings that our priests are telling us, for it might be the guidance that we will need in times of trouble. We should all change our mindsets about listening to the gospels, we should take it seriously and understand them by heart.

"Opening Your Eyes to See the Better Plans God has Set for You"

God is ever present in our daily lives, just as it can be seen in the Gospel we praise him during our times of interest in him and times of achievement. God is always in our lives through the smallest of things to the largest of things, but he is a large part of our life and existence. Sometimes we forget about God and lose track of him as we go through challenges as they occupy us all too much. Once we start to lose track of God we start to faintly lose his voice and his guidance as his signs always come in many forms. Hearing his words will definitely help us and guide us in every challenge.

When I was in a time of deep disappointment and misery I lost track of God, this is where I was humbled. This situation however helped me become the person I now am and helped me achieve things I once didn't think I was capable of. When you find the voice of God again in the most subtle to the most obvious of signs you will come to realize you have forgotten a great part of you life. This great part of your life is something you cannot live a proper life without. God is here to help guide us, assist us and lead onto the better path even though there are really tough challenges ahead of us.

We should come to realize that God is not only present during our achievements and happiness. He is also here during our dark times wherein we are just sad and lose hope in ourselves and everything around us. God's presence should be felt in both the best and the worst situations we may encounter. God's way of saying there is something better ahead is giving us challenging situations where we have to conquer and obstacle. Once we have passed this we will be greeted with the best of the best, for God only has better plans for us even better than the ones we could ever think of. We should always thank God for everything he has put as through as it shapes us and molds to become something better and much different from what we once were.

    “Open Hearts & Open Minds"

The gospel speaks about the arrival of Jesus in Galilee, and how his presence has driven the locals to praise him as the Son of God. In Nazareth, they listened to him intently, trusting his every word, and remained at awe before him.

As Catholics, we must learn to not only read the gospel and its teachings, but we must learn to take these to heart. Reading is only sufficient, if we learn to understand. And by consistently reading the gospels and by interpreting the messages behind these, we are able to apply these teachings into our own personal lives. A problem that we have as humans, is our stubborn nature, wherein we remain close minded regarding our views of life, and our own perspective of the world. Because of this, we fail to fulfill our missions as children of God. To counter this issue, we must learn to give trust Him, and His plans for us. By being full of doubt and insecurity, we are pushing Him away.

In order for us to achieve true contentment in our lives, we must first educate ourselves with the Lord’s teachings. And from these, we can be able to piece together our own view of our life, along with how God would want us to live it. It is not enough for us to merely attend the Sunday masses, because one of the most practical ways to show Him our love, is by believing that He will always be there, and by fulfilling our duties with genuine love for the Earth, for our neighbours, and for God.

The Lord has left a mission for us people because he wants us to achieve peace ourselves. So we should be following the mission he has left us. It is for the better of this world. We all want peace and for him to be happy because it will bring goodness to our world. So we should follow him and finish his mission because it is the right thing to do. This mission will bring goodness to the world.

What the Lord has left us will be able to teach us on how we should follow the Lord's rules. This mission has been left with us people for a long time already. The thing is that the people have not done it yet because it isn't what they want. The Lord knows how to achieve peace but we can all achieve it by following his rules and by also completing his mission.

The Word of the Lord in our Hearts

This Sunday gospel shows that Jesus was sent by God to save us from our sins. Jesus returned to Galilee and was praised by people as the "Son of God". Jesus read the prophecy of Isaiah to the people in the synagogue showing that he will be here to save us and he will bring light to the people. We all must follow Jesus' teachings because it is what will bring us closer to God.

God sent Jesus to do a mission to save us and he was able to succeed. Despite all the temptations and the people who were non-believers, he was still able to do good to others. We should all know that Jesus is our example and we must follow him and know that his actions are for our good. We must do our best to be like Jesus by doing good and avoiding evil. We should not give in to temptation just like Jesus. As christians, we should follow God's teachings by heart and not just by knowing it in our minds. Jesus suffered and died on the cross for us and we must continue his mission. Jesus taught us all to love other people and to not always think about ourselves. In my own experience, I should always remember that God is present in my heart. Even if I have many problems and challenges in my life, I should remain my faith in him and I should always pray to God.

In summary, God has a plan for everyone so we should always educate ourselves with God's teachings because we should continue the mission. We should all pray to God and keep having faith in him because his teachings are very useful for our lives.

    His Love Never Fails

This gospel shows us about who Jesus is and what He does for us. It is conveying to remind us that He is always there for us and He'll never ever leave our side; in which, He will be guiding us all the way. It teaches us that the good news will prevail and it will spread across nations for us to feel His presence with us being under amazing grace and guidance. God always wants the best for us and every single day, He wants us to know that no matter what happens — we should remember at heart that even in the worst of times; He always has a better plan for all of us that's waiting in the future.

Just like in Romans 8:28; it shows how each of us has this purpose that God has handed us and it is ours to go out and fulfill that purpose. Jesus died for us in the cross to save, and He is mighty to save. On the other hand, in our daily lives; we lift everything up to Him and do it for Him because we know that in our hearts, minds, and souls that He'll bring us to His amazing plans in the future. We do everything for Him and we are out to do our mission; which is to spread the good news in service. We are grateful and happy about all of the blessings He has given us ever since the start and it will go on until forever. Endlessly grateful and praising Him for it. Doing our best and knowing that God will do the rest keeps us tight with Him because of our strong faith and love. Everything that happens in our lives have a reason and it is God's way of showing us that He always has a plan. His love never fails; and in 1 John 4:19, we know that we love because He first loved us. We praise and thank God so much for all of the blessings He has given us and for helping us get through all our hardships in life. He helps us find freedom in surrender and makes us see that there will be great glory after all our present sufferings. God will always be there.

Summing up, God really wants the best for us. Even if we go through the worst of times in our lives, then we can say that if we go through the worst — we can still get to the best. He won't give us something we can't handle at all. Sometimes things get worse to let us see what should know and to remember that God will still have the better and the best plans for you in the end. Things get worse, but it doesn't mean that they can't get any more better. Our faith and love in Him overflows and as I have said, we were sent to this world to fulfill our purpose. We put God first and do everything in love and for Him as well; because with Him, that's where the love lasts forever and His love never fails.

    Following the word of God

The gospel is about the return of Jesus to galilee where everybody praised his arrival and greeted him with joy.In Nazareth the people felt praised and while Jesus is reading a scroll that came from the prophet Isaiah the people focused on every word that the son of God is saying because they know that they trust every word that he's saying.

The gospel is saying that we should follow the word of God because it would lead us to good things. We as Catholics we should always believe in the lord because he's always there for us even at dark times and good times and he wouldn't leave you behind. We shouldn't lose faith in him because he will always answer your prayers.Wherever we are we should always put God first in our everyday activities through prayer and doing the right thing. We should praise the lord because he sacrificed his life to save us from temptation and sin.

I therefore conclude that we should always believe in God and never lose faith in him because he's always beside you when you need him. We shouldn't just come to church and while listening to the gospel we shouldn't just ignore it but we should listen to every word because each word came from the Lord and is told by the Lord.We shouldn't just leave church without learning anything but we should learn from it because it can be useful in your life.

  18. Our Mission
    By: Mikayla Yambao JD 42

The gospel talks about Jesus returning to Galilee with power of the holy spirit and taught in their synagogues. He went to Nazareth and followed their tradition of going to the synagogue on the sabbath day and stood up to read a passage of Isaiah.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor.” This means that our original mission from the Lord is to help others and to spread His word. “He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed free.” He has sent us to free others from their problems and open their eyes to the wonders of the Lord to show them what He has given us. In the end Jesus says, “Today this Scripture passage is fulfilled in your hearing.” He says that the Scripture is fulfilled in their hearing because The Lord has sent Jesus to unburden us, to return our sight, to set us free.

Jesus is always here for us, He has left His teachings behind for us to turn to. With Jesus gone we are here to spread his teaching to others to do exactly what the scripture said, the Lord is always us be it as the Holy Spirit, our family, our friends, our teachers, everyone around us even if they don’t know it. God will always be with us.

This gospel talks about Jesus returning to Galilee and how the locals praised him as the "Son of God" And they listened to what he was preaching and trusting in his word.

What I learned in this Gospel is to trust in his word, but not only that but we should apply it in our lives. Because through reading the Bible, we will know what God's will is for us. It is said that we are the salt and light here in the world and by means, we have to be like Jesus so that when other see Jesus in us, the others may be attracted in knowing His word as well.

We are surrounded by people who could help us in knowing God's word, we may ignore them sometimes but we have to understand that maybe God is using them to reach out to you and the ones who are lost. But we must understand that to attain eternal salvation, we should have a personal relationship with Christ. And through that, this emptiness in our hearts will be filled and we will have happiness this world could not offer.

  20. Listening to God's words
    By Koki Asaba CN08 JD

The gospel talks about Jesus returning to Galilee in the power of the spirit. When everyone heard about this, they all went to their synagogues to listen to Jesus' teachings about God's words. This means that everyone wanted to really learn from Jesus to get a stronger relationship with God.

From this gospel, I learned that we should listen more to the words of God because they really have a deep meaning to it. "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor." These lines have a very deep meaning to it because it tells us that God sent his only son Jesus to come help those in need and "He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord." means that he was also sent to heal those who suffer and free those people from evil. This is what he is suppose to do and he was able to do it.

I conclude that we should always keep a good relationship with god and if ever something happens to us, we should not lose our faith in God because he is always their when we need him.

A Missionary in our Own Being

This gospel reminds me of a bible passage I've come across on Mark 16:15. It states, "And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation."" By bringing out God's word to others, we continue to keep alive His love in the lives of our brothers and sisters today as they hear the good tidings of the Lord. It is God's word which serves as one of the most significant reminders in keeping in touch with our faith and how to live a fruitful life in accordance to His will. We can all be missionaries of Christ in our own little ways, not only through proclaiming the word, but through our actions which allow others to experience God in their lives, especially to the poor in spirit who are in need of it.

Furthermore, the passage has come to make me realize that I must give more value and importance into the word of God, such as when I am listening in mass, as well as taking the time to read and reflect more often on the bible. Moreover, I must open my mind and heart to the people around me, to see God in the different people in my life as well as the blessings given to me. God not only speaks to us through the scriptures, but rather in mysterious ways. If we only keep our minds and hearts open, God is indeed very much alive to us. He is always with us - he always has been. Allow him to fill you with His love, and undoubtedly will you experience a meaningful life of true peace, love, and harmony- which is incomparable to the happiness we are to receive as we rejoice in eternal life when we rejoin with our creator again someday.

    Our mission

The gospels talks about Jesus visiting Galilee and returning to his hometown of Nazareth. Ah he comes home, people praise him because of his wise teachings and that he is the son of God. He went to the synagogue in Nazareth and read a scroll of Isaiah to which he said that this scriptures passage is fulfilled in your hearing.

Jesus said that because he was sent on a mission to deliver the good news and to save us all. By the looks of it, Jesus succeeded in his mission because of the praise he is receiving in his hometown of Nazareth. Jesus went through a lot of hardships in spreading the good news and salvation. He has been mocked by non-believers and pagans and even died on the cross to bring salvation to us all. Despite of all that, he succeeded, without him our future would've never been the same. This gospel showed me to never give up on my goals despite the hardships I'll be facing. We will have many challenges in life that could bring us down and destroy our ambitions. But always remember, those challenges are tests by God to help us understand our goals for the better. As long as we have faith in God and give determination on our goals and aspirations, we will succeed.

In conclusion, this gospel showed me to never give up on my dreams and aspirations just as Jesus did. The gospel showed me that there will be road blocks on the path to success. Those road blocks shouldn't stop you, but instead, overcome those roadblocks and push forward to the path of success. Jesus had a mission to deliver salvation. It wasn't easy, but he succeeded.

  23. This gospel from the book of the lord talks about Jesus returning to visit Galilee and coming home to his place of birth Nazareth. As he arrives the people begin to worship him and praise him for the wisdom he has and claim that he is the son of God. He then goes to a synagogue and begins to read a scroll from the scriptures.

Jesus spreads the word of God through miraculous acts and through wise teachings. The good news of the Lord must be spread by all of us regardless of who we are we just do our best to serve God wether it is through actions or words. This gospel shows that we must be willing to persevere and endure for God and his will. We must never lose courage and never lose our faith. Our hardships on earth is nothing compared to the eternal salvation we shall have in heaven.

  24. What is meant by "Gospel"
    Jared Santos JD

The gospel of Luke tells us to reflect on how we read the Sunday gospels. Today, we have so much advanced technology that keeps us update on various news around the world. Much of media today present news that are only meant to shock, that are just tidbits meant to amuse us. We must remember that the scriptures we hear every Sunday is something that can change our lives for the better. It is something that will affect us dramatically.

The gospel of Jesus Christ is good news. It is always the best news imaginable for anyone. It is for everybody now matter who you are, it is for those who are in need for guidance. It is not merely good news for those who are Christians, but for all of his creations. The Good News is a revelation of God's presence among us. In Luke, the activity of the Spirit represents that presence. When Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, He read a prophecy from Isaiah and proclaimed its fulfillment. He mentioned "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me". When Jesus proclaimed the Good News, he proclaimed the Spirit. Jesus breathed God's word in his teaching and his healing. The power of his proclamation changed people, situations, and environments because he breathed out the power of God. When Jesus spoke, hearts turned to God and health was restored.

The Gospel made me realize that I must listen more to the Word of God. I must apply and use the message of the Gospel in my daily life and in everything that I do. I've realized that by not listening genuinely to the voice of God, I am missing out on the message he wants to us to learn. The word must become active and fulfilled, not just letters on paper, but energy in the heart, to proclaim and live out the love of God.

    "The Living Word of God"
The Gospel of Luke conveys how Jesus is the living word of God. He preaches to the people in the synagogues and brings them news of their eternal salvation. Jesus exemplifies traits that we, as stewards of God's creation, should have. He explained his ultimate mission as a human but divine God on earth-that he would save us from our sins just how He performed miracles toward the sick, blind and deaf. It just goes to show that He wants us to realize our mission in the life God gave us, and that is to be God's Word to others. The last verse of the gospel says that by hearing his preaching, the Scripture has been fulfilled. But, we know that God taught us that we must put our faith into action and incorporate God's word into our daily actions. We should never turn our backs and give a deaf ear to the gospel. Additionally, we must never stray far away from His teachings because we know that it is by His word that we attain life eternal with Him in His kingdom in heaven.
I can exemplify His teachings by following God's commandments. And I find doing this consistently very difficult; however, I try my best to show authentic and true love to everyone that I meet. When people see how God has touched your life, it acts like a domino-effect and they themselves will start to realize how God works His ways in their lives.

Jesus answered God's call by spreading God'd word to people all over. People praised and respected him as he restored the faith of others in God. The gospel talks about how the Holy Spirit was bestowed upon Jesus as he was anointed . Jesus upon receiving the Holy Spirit he has started his mission to spread God's word.

As he talks about God's teachings he also performed miracles, like healing the sick, curing the disabled, driving demons away, and much more. The gospel tells us that how Jesus had done his part in changing the world for the better. It tells us that we must answer God's call in spreading his word and doing good deeds. We may not be able to cure blind people or make the disabled walk, but the next best thing is merely giving kindness to others. We should not view being kind as a chore but rather a virtue.

As a student, there are many ways I can apply this gospel lesson in my daily life. I could always share my knowledge of God to others and reach out to those who need my help. There are insurmountable and countless opportunities for us to give kindness to others and answer God's call. We simply must not turn a deaf ear to him and pick up the call, no to miscalled.

The gospel speaks about Jesus’ arrival in Galilee. The people praise Him for the wisdom He has, and say that He is the Son of God. He then preaches in a synagogue.

Through this passage, I have learned to give more importance to His Word. With the scriptures, we will know more of God’s plans for us, and that we should trust in Him.

I have come to realise that God speaks to us through the bible and in prayer. We must follow His teachings and put our faith into action. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5)

    "Soldiers of Christ"
It is our duty as His children to proclaim the good news of our Lord. As Jesus finished reading the scroll of the prophet Isaiah, he proclaimed that the scroll's message has been fulfilled. This is true because, as Jesus was reading the contents of the scroll aloud, He has shared our MISSION as "soldiers" of Christ. (I used the word "soldier" because, a solider has to be loyal to his/her given mission. In this case, we serve God and we must remain faithful to His wishes and almighty being.)

We are to love our neighbor as we love ourself; we shouldn't hold any malice or ill-will amongst our brethren and we should live by following the example that Christ gave us. We must live a "year acceptable to the Lord."

And how do we do that? We do exactly as the scroll of Isaiah entitles us to do and more.

James 1:22 "Do not deceive yourselves by just listening to His word; instead, put it into practice."

Let us not take the Lord's word for granted! We must act now and do great wonders to Him and His creations on Earth.

Jesus has called us to go to the ends of the earth in order to proclaim His message. He knows that His love is great and should be spread to others, and we should be instruments of His love. He has called each and every one of us by name for a certain mission in our hearts. We are called to worship God and love Him back through our actions. We must accept the calling that God has given us to spread His words to the ends of the earth.

As soldiers of Christ and worshippers, we must encounter God first. You cannot worship or spread God's word if you have never encountered or met Him before. We must learn how to not just be a fan of God, but be a friend. It is important to get to know Jesus and to develop deeper personal relationships with Him in order to spread His love to others. You cannot give what you do not have yourself; we must receive before we give.

We must have a heart filled with Jesus. Although we are not perfect, we must strive to make Jesus proud with our actions. We must also be able to defend the name of Jesus because He is the greatest of all. Loving others with God's love may do great wonders, transform lives, and transform hearts. Love is nothing without actions so we must show it in our day to day lives.

We must be more than willing to go to the ends of earth for Jesus. It does not just stop in CL class but it goes even beyond that. We must be eager to tell the world God's story because He is great, forgiving, kind and all knowing.

So sorry for the late submission sir but I worked hard on this and I hope and pray for your kind consideration. Thank you sir!

  32. The gospel shows who Jesus is. Luke talks about the return of Jesus to Galilee. There he taught and spread the good news of the Lord to the synagogues. In Nazareth, they listened to him intently, trusting his every word, and remained at awe before him. He went to the synagogue in Nazareth and read a scroll of Isaiah to which he said that this scriptures passage is fulfilled in your hearing.

God is merciful so we should not be afraid to ask for forgiveness. Going back, we need to do our own missions. There are many ways to help. You can be a doctor or a teacher. Even the little good things you do can change other's lives. This is how we can live like Jesus. And as Christian, all we have to do is to believe and have that certainty that as long as we are in God’s arms, we find solace. God is here to help guide us, assist us and lead onto the better path even though there are really tough challenges ahead of us.

God has a plan for everyone so we should always educate ourselves with God's teachings because we should continue the mission. We should all pray to God and keep having faith in him because his teachings are very useful for our lives.

  34. The Gospel I have read from the book of Luke is a story about Jesus visiting Galilee. After being known as the prophecy of Isaiah. It also shows that his intentions in life are for us. For he is God, a powerful man that is here to protect and sketch what is entitled for each one of us. As a children of God, we must do our part by always keeping our Faith alive no matter what obstacles we may face in our lives

This Gospel made me realize that we must put our trust in God for he will always stay true to his word, which gives purpose on the reason on why we read the bible. Although in my experience though out my entire life, there are times when I would just choose not to read the bible to do other unnecessary activities, I now realize that through this I am missing a great opportunity to learn more about the word of God which brings me further away from him

This Gospel can also give us A great lesson, as children’s of God we must take every opportunity to praise, worship and learn the word of God for it will guide us throughout our everyday lives forever, although there are times when we may not feel his presence or problems start getting worse, we must always remember that God has a plan for us for something greater, we just need to keep our faith alive.
