Some
people told Jesus about the Galileans
whose blood Pilate had mingled with the blood of their sacrifices.
Jesus said to them in reply,
“Do you think that because these Galileans suffered in this way
they were greater sinners than all other Galileans?
By no means!
But I tell you, if you do not repent,
you will all perish as they did!
Or those eighteen people who were killed
when the tower at Siloam fell on them—
do you think they were more guilty
than everyone else who lived in Jerusalem?
By no means!
But I tell you, if you do not repent,
you will all perish as they did!”
And he told them this parable:
“There once was a person who had a fig tree planted in his orchard,
and when he came in search of fruit on it but found none,
he said to the gardener,
‘For three years now I have come in search of fruit on this fig tree
but have found none.
So cut it down.
Why should it exhaust the soil?’
He said to him in reply,
‘Sir, leave it for this year also,
and I shall cultivate the ground around it and fertilize it;
it may bear fruit in the future.
If not you can cut it down.’”

ReplyDelete1. WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES OF THIS GOSPEL IN TODAY'S SOCIETY PARTICULARLY TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE YOU?
This gospel is all about repentance and forgiveness. In God's eyes, we are all sinners and regardless of who sins more than who, we are all sinners looking for forgiveness. We are all equals and nothing puts us above each other. Learn to forgive and forget just as God forgives us.
2. WHAT KEY CONCEPTS FROM THE REVALIDA TOPICS CAN YOU BEST APPLY HERE.DISCUSS THOROUGHLY.
The topic from REVALIDA that we can use in this topic is human conscience. We all make mistakes and none of us are perfect. Except for God of course. Knowing that we all make mistakes, we must learn to accept our mistakes and grow from them.
3. HOW CAN THIS GOSPEL ADDRESS THE OBSTACLES TO HUMAN SEXUALITY.
We must learn to grow from our past mistakes. It is part of the process of growing up and although we may falter at times, we must never stop growing. We must continue to learn and to grow in order for us improve as children of God.

ReplyDelete1. WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES OF THIS GOSPEL IN TODAY'S SOCIETY PARTICULARLY TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE YOU?
In today's society, there are many sinners all around the world. They should all repent because God still loves them. For God, everyone is equal. We should be like that. We should always forgive others like how Jesus forgave others. He has forgiven many sinners like tax collectors, prostitutes and others. When someone does a sin to you, you should always forgive him or her and give a chance make a good change.
2. WHAT KEY CONCEPTS FROM THE REVALIDA TOPICS CAN YOU BEST APPLY HERE.DISCUSS THOROUGHLY.
Key concepts from the revalida topics are conscience and freedom. Our conscience helps us make decisions on whether something is right or wrong. When we know what is right, we should use our freedom to do it. We should always ask for forgiveness from God because he will always love us. We should also stop doing evil because that is how we use our conscience and freedom.
3. HOW CAN THIS GOSPEL ADDRESS THE OBSTACLES TO HUMAN SEXUALITY.
This gospel teaches us that there are sinners everywhere even if they do not look like sinners. The gospel talks about repentance from God. This means that after sinning, we should change for the better. We must do good by having chastity and being disciplined in our human sexuality. We should always continue doing good for God.

ReplyDelete1. WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES OF THIS GOSPEL IN TODAY'S SOCIETY PARTICULARLY TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE YOU?
We should all earn how to repent from our sins so that we will not exacerbate our relationship with God and the environment. We should understand that there are endless hopes despite to the problems that we face constantly in this ever-changing society. Oftenly, we take things for granted now, even though the answer is juts right in front of us— we still fall for the temptations.
2. WHAT KEY CONCEPTS FROM THE REVALIDA TOPICS CAN YOU BEST APPLY HERE.DISCUSS THOROUGHLY.
From the gospel above, it said, “it may bear fruit in the future. if not you can cut it down”. From here, it could also signify our patience and faith. The tree will not bear fruit if we do not fertilize it; our faith will no ascend if we do not lift it up. We are imperfect yet unique in our own little ways. And the only way to make ourselves perfect is by being in the likeness of the image of God. We are creatures, we are human beings. We all are entitled with our freedom— and the only way to use this right is knowing what is morally good and bad, which is our conscience.
3. HOW CAN THIS GOSPEL ADDRESS THE OBSTACLES TO HUMAN SEXUALITY.
We are humans composing the world and the only way to save it from the hot solace is by being good followers of Christ. Often, we treat ourselves as the ridiculous causes of the exacerbation of the issues in Human Sexuality in today’s time. How can our society bear fruit of hopes and gratitude if we ourselves do not serve as the fertilizer, the only way to make the society grow? We are t

1. What are the challenges of this Gospel in today's society particularly to the young people like you?
• The Gospel challenges young people like me in today's society to repent and ask forgiveness from the Lord for our wrongdoings. As said by the Gospel, "But I tell you, if you do not repent, you will all perish as they did!". We should ask forgiveness now before it is too late. Furthermore, it also challenges the young people to be patient — as in the Parable told by Jesus. Even though something is barren as of the moment (just like the fig tree), it may bear fruit or become true in the future — and the fruits may be sweeter than you expect. We just need to be patient, trust and have faith.
2. What key concepts from the Revalida topics can you best apply here? Discuss thoroughly.
• Key concepts that can be best applied here based from the Revalida topics include the concept of Conscience. Our Conscience helps us to avoid evil and harmful acts by helping us decide and think if an action we are about to undertake is good or bad. In the Gospel, the person had the choice whether or not to cut the "barren" fig tree, but he chose not to do so, because he followed his conscience — which told him that the fig tree may bear good fruits in the future if he is patient.
3. How can this Gospel address the obstacles to human sexuality?
• The Gospel addresses the obstacles to human sexuality by telling us that all things have the right time. In terms of the obstacles to human sexuality such as pre-marital sex, we must remember that sex or an intimate relationship with another person always has the right time, just like how the fig tree does not bear fruit yet. Sex before marriage, or at the wrong time is wrong, whereas sexual and intimate relationships of a married couple is good and fruitful, just like how the fig tree bears fruit at the right time.

ReplyDelete1. WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES OF THIS GOSPEL IN TODAY'S SOCIETY PARTICULARLY TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE YOU?
There are so many people that have done wrongdoings in their lifetimes, it may be hard to admit or easily forgotten but it is a reality nowadays. This gospel challenges the young to remember to repent their wrongdoings before it is too late, to ask for God's forgiveness to strengthen our relationship with Him, instead of destroying it.
2. WHAT KEY CONCEPTS FROM THE REVALIDA TOPICS CAN YOU BEST APPLY HERE.DISCUSS THOROUGHLY.
Conscience and Freedom--I believe freedom and conscience are two of the many major key concepts that I can apply here because we, as creatures of Earth, we have the freedom to do what we must, but the freedom given to us should come with our conscience—to know whether what we are doing is right. In some instances where we have sinned, we have to remember that the right thing to do is to ask for His forgiveness for the sins that have been committed.
3. HOW CAN THIS GOSPEL ADDRESS THE OBSTACLES TO HUMAN SEXUALITY.
I believe that this particular gospel can address the obstacles to human sexuality by remembering to always think before acting towards another individual, regardless of their sexuality. We cannot disrespect or mistreat them just because they are different, we musn't do the wrong thing. We must learn from our mistakes from the past and grow from that.

ReplyDelete1. WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES OF THIS GOSPEL IN TODAY'S SOCIETY PARTICULARLY TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE YOU?
-The challenges of the Gospel in which we face in real life is that we commit mistakes, although it is normal to commit mistakes as we are not perfect. We must remember that when others commit mistakes or wrongdoings towards us, we must forgive and forget as God does daily to our sins. God accepts us for who we other no matter the amount or frequency of sinning we do, he only asks that we repent and are sorry for our sins. God sees the good inside of us and therefore he is able to be ever-forgiving and ever-loving. Today we must learn to see the good within people and to learn the value of forgiveness as it shows that we believe people learn from their mistakes and can change for the better, as from time to time we too commit mistakes as we are not perfect and only God is.
2. WHAT KEY CONCEPTS FROM THE REVALIDA TOPICS CAN YOU BEST APPLY HERE.DISCUSS THOROUGHLY.
-The Christian Anthropology which is that Man is made in the image of God can be related to the topics in revalida. Since we were made in the image of God and his likeness we inherit some of his traits although they are imperfect unlike his. One trait God has is that he is ever-forgiving and he will always forgive us for our sins. We should learn from this as we should always forgive wrongdoings committed towards us and help them learn from their mistakes. Another topic would be freedom, as we are given the choice to help them learn from mistakes and it is solely our choice if we would want to or not, it is also our choice whether to forgive them or not. Since conscience and freedom and very much related, conscience is easily seen in this situation. Since we are given choices we must make the most positive choice and one which will enable a change for good of a person and just like God we must follow in his footsteps by forgiving and letting go of our grudges as we do not need to keep grudges.
3. HOW CAN THIS GOSPEL ADDRESS THE OBSTACLES TO HUMAN SEXUALITY.
-The Gospel talks about forgiveness and for us to repent so we may be forgiven. Human sexuality faces many challenges with the largest being it is largely full of misconceptions due to the media. Many of these misconceptions lead us to wrongdoings as we were not aware that we are indeed committing mistakes. We should remember to avoid misconceptions and the actions that are followed by misconceptions, although it is not perfectly avoidable we must try our best to. In the event of wrong doings and mistakes we should implement the lessons we have learned from the Gospel which focuses on forgiveness as through this we are able to let go of our hard feelings and biases toward that person and learn to see the good within that person.

ReplyDelete1. WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES OF THIS GOSPEL IN TODAY'S SOCIETY PARTICULARLY TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE YOU?
- In today's society, the youth are often too proud of themselves and they think that they can judge others. What we do not realize is that we are all sinners and we all make mistakes. If something bad happens to another person, it does not necessarily mean that they are being punished for committing a sin. Consequently, if nothing bad happens to us, it does not mean that we did not sin. What this gospel is trying to tell us is that we are all sinners, therefore, we should all repent for our sins.
2. WHAT KEY CONCEPTS FROM THE REVALIDA TOPICS CAN YOU BEST APPLY HERE.DISCUSS THOROUGHLY.
- One topic from the revalida that may be applied in this gospel is conscience. As a I have mentioned, we are all sinners. This means that we need to remind ourselves to ask for forgiveness whenever we sin. Our conscience is there to help us decide on what to do in every situation. If we make a mistake and we commit sin, we must not forget to ask God for forgiveness. Again, we are all sinners and we are not perfect. We can always ask for forgiveness from God because He is very merciful and He loves us.
3. HOW CAN THIS GOSPEL ADDRESS THE OBSTACLES TO HUMAN SEXUALITY
- We are all sinners in this world. The only way that we can be better is to repent for our sins and to start following the teachings of Christ. Relating it to chastity, we need to follow what the Church teaches us about it. In order for us to be chaste, we must be careful about the temptations of the obstacles to human sexuality. Whenever we are faced with these temptations, we must consult our conscience if what we are doing is good or bad. This way we may decide whether to do the right or wrong thing and if we choose wisely, we may live a fruitful and peaceful life.
1. WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES OF THIS GOSPEL IN TODAY'S SOCIETY PARTICULARLY TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE YOU?
ReplyDeleteThis gospel is all about forgiveness. We are all equally treated according to Gods eyes. Everyone commits mistakes, everyone sins so we should try our best to avoid committing them. And, we should always ask forgiveness from him.
2. WHAT KEY CONCEPTS FROM THE REVALIDA TOPICS CAN YOU BEST APPLY HERE.DISCUSS THOROUGHLY.
The concepts from the revalida are conscience and freedom because we should use both of them when making the right decisions. We should always use them in choosing God among all things so that God will guide us.
3. HOW CAN THIS GOSPEL ADDRESS THE OBSTACLES TO HUMAN SEXUALITY.
We should try to avoid committing mistakes. We should not abuse the gifts that God gave us. We should always remember that it's is worthless to ask for forgiveness if we will still keep doing it over and over again.

Despite our sins, we are all equal in the eyes of God, and is how we should view each other as well. This gospel teaches us about repentance and forgiveness. We should all learn to forgive and love others as unconditionally as Jesus does.
2. WHAT KEY CONCEPTS FROM THE REVALIDA TOPICS CAN YOU BEST APPLY HERE.DISCUSS THOROUGHLY.
In this gospel, we can use the concepts of freedom and conscience. Our freedom is the power to make the right decision, as conscience is what guides us in doing what is right.
3. HOW CAN THIS GOSPEL ADDRESS THE OBSTACLES TO HUMAN SEXUALITY.
The passage mentioned about the fig tree shows us about the importance of patience. This gospel addresses the obstacles in human sexuality by showing us that there is a right and proper time for everything.
1. WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES OF THIS GOSPEL IN TODAY'S SOCIETY PARTICULARLY TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE YOU? HOW CAN THIS GOSPEL ADDRESS THE OBSTACLES TO HUMAN SEXUALITY.
ReplyDeleteWe must learn to grow from our past mistakes. It is part of growing, but we should never use this as a reason to stop us from growing not only physically but spiritually with God. We must continue to learn and to grow in order for us improve as children of God.
1. WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES OF THIS GOSPEL IN TODAY'S SOCIETY PARTICULARLY TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE YOU?
ReplyDeleteWe tend to be impatient in getting things that we want. Waiting becomes invisible in our vocabulary. Committing sin brings us down and brings us away from the Lord, however, we must not stop on continuing and striving to become good children of God. In this way we will make Him be proud of us.
2. WHAT KEY CONCEPTS FROM THE REVALIDA TOPICS CAN YOU BEST APPLY HERE.DISCUSS THOROUGHLY.
The topic that we discussed on conscience can be best applied here. It is because according to the gospel above, the man was impatient and disappointed that the tree did not bear fruit when he looked for one. However, our conscience tells us that it is a gift from God even though it did not bear fruit when we needed it to bear fruit.
3. HOW CAN THIS GOSPEL ADDRESS THE OBSTACLES TO HUMAN SEXUALITY.
If a man falls in love with another man and not a woman it will not bear fruit. However, adoption can be considered as bearing fruit and if the male couple come into having a baby by adopting one, then they will already bear fruit. Another example is that if a man and a woman come as one, it may not immediately result in having a child but we must wait because God had planned everything ahead of us.
1. WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES OF THIS GOSPEL IN TODAY'S SOCIETY PARTICULARLY TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE YOU?
ReplyDeleteThis gospel is all about forgiveness. In gods eyes we are equal. In addition he loves us very much and will forgive us every time we sin. So as lasallian achievers for god and country we are called to act like jesus so we should forgive our enemies as well whenever we would be in conflict with others or when they sin against us.
2. WHAT KEY CONCEPTS FROM THE REVALIDA TOPICS CAN YOU BEST APPLY HERE.DISCUSS THOROUGHLY.
The concepts from the revalida are conscience and freedom because we should be able to use our freedom to be able to choose to do what is right and not what is wrong. In addition conscience can help because it can be able to help us avoid sin.
3. HOW CAN THIS GOSPEL ADDRESS THE OBSTACLES TO HUMAN SEXUALITY.
We should try to avoid doing the same mistakes over and over again. Because as we ask forgiveness we should keep in mind that we cannot repeat it again. Cause we should now take god for granted as he gives us his forgiveness.

ReplyDelete1. WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES OF THIS GOSPEL IN TODAY'S SOCIETY PARTICULARLY TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE YOU?
It is hard for the people in our generation to accept defeat and repentant. Repentance is a very significant value in living our lives in line with what Jesus wants us to do. We all sin, but not all of us repent. Jesus says that if you repent, no matter how bad your sin was, you will always be saved. Although your sin was super bad, if you believe in yourself and grow just like a fig tree, then we will be able to do all things through Him who strengthens us.
2. WHAT KEY CONCEPTS FROM THE REVALIDA TOPICS CAN YOU BEST APPLY HERE.DISCUSS THOROUGHLY.
One of the topics in revalida that is clearly seen in this Gospel is freeodom and moral dignity. Sin destroys your moral dignity but never your ontological dignity. Since sin is the ultimate obstacle to true freedom, we must repent and go to confession to restore our moral dignity. No matter how bad our sin is, if we trust in God, then our faith will grow just like a fig tree.
3. HOW CAN THIS GOSPEL ADDRESS THE OBSTACLES TO HUMAN SEXUALITY.
As said earlier, sin is the obstacle to true freedom in Jesus. Homosexual acts are grave sins that we must repent for. However, we must not abuse His love and abundant forgiveness for us. We must realize that human sexuality is a gift and we should follow God's plan when it comes to this accordingly.

ReplyDelete1. WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES OF THIS GOSPEL IN TODAY'S SOCIETY PARTICULARLY TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE YOU?
I think one of the challenges in line with today's society is how we treat our brothers and sisters in Christ. It is easy for us nowadays to be discriminating towards people who are different, who grow differently, or sin differently. It is quite difficult to find equality an forgiveness in this era.
2. WHAT KEY CONCEPTS FROM THE REVALIDA TOPICS CAN YOU BEST APPLY HERE.DISCUSS THOROUGHLY.
Key concepts would be one's moral and ontological dignity. Though we may commit mistakes and lose our sense of moral dignity as we may stray away from a state of grace under God's mantle, our ontological dignity can never be destroyed. No matter the gravity of the actions we commit, it does not undermine our self worth in any way, nor does it make God love us any less. He is so merciful, and only if we repent and ask for His forgiveness can we live a life of true happiness by following His commandments and grow just like the fig tree did.
3. HOW CAN THIS GOSPEL ADDRESS THE OBSTACLES TO HUMAN SEXUALITY.
God is ever merciful, and His love for us never fails, never gives up, or never runs out on us no matter how much we hurt Him by committing sins, such as acts that abuse or go against putting value and chastity into our gift given to us by Him, which is human sexuality. Because of that, we should not take advantage of the freedom God gives us and abuse or actions.

ReplyDelete1. What are the challenges of this Gospel in today's society particularly to the young people like you?
• The Gospel challenges young people to find God's mercy in order to repent and ask forgiveness. It is by God's unconditional mercy and compassion that we do not perish. The Gospel reveals that God does not see our weaknesses or the bad sides about us like the fig tree. But instead, He chooses to give us time to grow and realize His undying salvation.
2. What key concepts from the Revalida topics can you best apply here? Discuss thoroughly.
One key concept that can be related to the Gospel would be Pre-Marital Sex. It is very related because like the fig tree, we are growing and developing human beings that need to bear fruit at the right time. And what Pre-Marital Sex does is that we choose the act over commitment first. We need to give ourselves time to prepare before we can bear fruit.
3. How can this Gospel address the obstacles to human sexuality?
The Gospel addresses the obstacle of Pre-Marital Sex because it is a hindrance to chastity in human sexuality. It is evident that we as young adults are vey vulnerable to temptations and false teachings, thus we have to be open-minded to what God says about human sexuality and remain faithful to it because that is when we can be definitive children of God.

1. WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES OF THIS GOSPEL IN TODAY'S SOCIETY PARTICULARLY TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE YOU?
-As stated by Jesus Christ in this gospel, we are all equal in God’s eyes. We are all sinners, we are all his children, and none of us are any better than the other. Regardless of this, we should not disregard our own faults, and instead, we should learn to be shameful of our own sins and learn to repent and to ask for forgiveness.
2. WHAT KEY CONCEPTS FROM THE REVALIDA TOPICS CAN YOU BEST APPLY HERE.DISCUSS THOROUGHLY.
-The topic of conscience is relevant in this situation, because it is essentially our choice as to whether or not we will betray God or turn our backs to Him. In relation to the situation, we are at fault for all the sins we commit. Knowing this, the only ways we can do to make up for our sins is to repent and promise to not commit the same mistake again.
3. HOW CAN THIS GOSPEL ADDRESS THE OBSTACLES TO HUMAN SEXUALITY.
-We are all tempted to commit sins related to sexuality. And most of us are guilty of actually doing unwholesome acts. As we are aware of our actions, it is our duty to be ashamed of them, thus we should repent so that we may prevent ourselves from committing any more acts that encourage the idea of sexuality as a means of pleasure.

The gospel is about forgiveness and it relates to how each of us treat one another in our daily lives. Forgiveness and repentance are important in our lives. We shouldn’t let ourselves hold our grudges because in reality, the more you feel bad about something if you don’t let go of it. Whatever happens and whoever did something that hurt you, we should still forgive them and let go of what was. Maybe we don’t fully move on from it but yes, forgiveness will really lighten up your heart and it won’t be one of the buried burdens deep in your heart. Basically, we should k
2. WHAT KEY CONCEPTS FROM THE REVALIDA TOPICS CAN YOU BEST APPLY HERE.DISCUSS THOROUGHLY.
Key concepts about Freedom and Sin can be best applied since for freedom is not just being free from sin, but also loving God and loving others as well. With this, forgiveness is freedom. You forgive others, and your heart will feel lighter and you won’t have to carry any of those unneeded weights in your life. We should learn and take in how we should let go and just be free. This also applies to the saying of “accept what is, let go of what was, and have faith in what will be.”
3. HOW CAN THIS GOSPEL ADDRESS THE OBSTACLES TO HUMAN SEXUALITY.
The gospel addresses the obstacles to human sexuality since this really shows how much love will always conquer all. Forgiveness is one thing that comes along with that. One thing remains in everything and that is God’s love for us. God always has better plans for each of us and He loves us endlessly. No matter how much we have committed sins in our lives, He will forgive us because His love never fails.

ReplyDelete1. WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES OF THIS GOSPEL IN TODAY'S SOCIETY PARTICULARLY TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE YOU?
- Nowadays, the young people are usually too proud and they think that they can freely judge others. What we do not realize is that we are all sinners and we all commit mistakes. If something terrible happens to another person, it does not mean that they are being punished for committing the sin. What this gospel is saying is that we are all sinners, therefore, we should all confess to God.
2. WHAT KEY CONCEPTS FROM THE REVALIDA TOPICS CAN YOU BEST APPLY HERE.DISCUSS THOROUGHLY.
- Conscience is a good topic that may be applied here. What I said earlier, we are all sinners. Or in other words, we need to constantly remind ourselves to ask for forgiveness from God whenever we commit sin. Conscience will always be there to help us decide on what to do. If we make a mistake and we sin, we must not forget to ask God for forgiveness. None of us are perfect, we all, have fallen short of God’s glorious standards. We can always ask for forgiveness from God because He is a forgiving and He loves us.
3. HOW CAN THIS GOSPEL ADDRESS THE OBSTACLES TO HUMAN SEXUALITY
- We are all sinners, from the time we were born. The only solution to this is to follow God’s word. Because he is all knowing, we must always have this relationship with him and through this, he will help/guide us in our everyday lives. He will change us to the person He wants us to be, to fulfill our purpose here on earth. Once we follow him, everything else will follow.

ReplyDelete1. WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES OF THIS GOSPEL IN TODAY'S SOCIETY PARTICULARLY TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE YOU?
- The challenge in this gospel is the alarming need for us to repent. One day judgement day will come and God will separate those whom are good from those who aren't. We are just like the fig tree in the parable, and Jesus is the fertilizer. It is up to us if we bear fruit or not, if not we will get cut down and die.
2. WHAT KEY CONCEPTS FROM THE REVALIDA TOPICS CAN YOU BEST APPLY HERE.DISCUSS THOROUGHLY.

In pre-marital sex, we must remember that sexual intercourse or an intimate relationship with another person must always be done at the right time, just like how the fig tree does not bear fruit yet. Sex before marriage is wrong, whereas sexual and intimate relationships of a married couple is good and fruitful. Such as the tree, it bears fruit at the right moment.

ReplyDeleteOur world is full of sinners that succumb to their everyday temptation. Some of us continue these sins even if we sometimes regret it but Jesus tells us to sincerely repent so that we may be able to finally stop these sins with His help. If you think your sins wont be forgiven by God, remember that Parable of the Fig Tree wherein God represents the master that did not give up on the sinner that was represented by a fig tree.
A Revalida topic that relates to this passage is How to Exercise True Freedom. I believe that True Freedom is based on the rules given to us by God and remembering to habit the value of integrity.
People blinded by the belief of the old days are basically saying that Jesus died in vain because he died for the sins that we haven't had the chance to let go of. Giving the opportunity to serve the Lord no matter what sexuality can change the perspective that every sinner has the chance to live with the Almighty in heaven

This gospel is all about forgiveness. We are all equally treated according to Gods eyes. Our freedom is the power to make the right decision, as conscience is what guides us in doing what is right. We are all sinners in this world. Many of these misconceptions lead us to wrongdoings as we were not aware that we are indeed committing mistakes. The only way that we can be better is to repent for our sins and to start following the teachings of Christ. We must learn from our mistakes from the past and grow from that.

1. WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES OF THIS GOSPEL IN TODAY'S SOCIETY PARTICULARLY TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE YOU?
-In society today, most of us carry the mentality that the graver the punishment, the greater the sin. The less we confess (to the priest), the better we are as human beings. We don't realize that our actions alone is not sufficient in determining whether we are a good person or not. Everyone can go to church, everyone can pray, and yet, people can still do harm to themselves, practice adultery and many more. We claim to be all good, we like to COMPARE ourselves to others and we base off our standing on good or bad based on the actions of others. We have this pride in us that says we are BETTER than others, whether they admit it or not.
2. WHAT KEY CONCEPTS FROM THE REVALIDA TOPICS CAN YOU BEST APPLY HERE.DISCUSS THOROUGHLY.
-The topics of Sin, Freedom and Conscience can be best applied here. Keeping these three topics in mind, we can see that all of this are connected. We have the freedom to do what we want, the conscience to determine whether we SHOULD do something or not, and the ability to give in to temptation and sin. In relation to this Gospel, we must have an open mind and conscience to actions. We are our own person, our actions and thoughts determine who WE are to the eyes of God. The gravity of our Sins can only be determined by Him and how badly we want to repent.
3. HOW CAN THIS GOSPEL ADDRESS THE OBSTACLES TO HUMAN SEXUALITY.
-"Each to his own," or in layman's term, every thought, choice, action belongs to himself. We have the freedom to determine what kind of sexuality we have and how we control ourselves to our sexual desires. When we commit adultery, or even, when a person rapes another — it is not morally wrong to the victim, whereas the rapist is the one who has committed the sin. Our sins can only be done by ourselves and towards others, in order to reduce the severity of our sins, we must behold ourselves in front of God, repent with all our heart, and let Him decide what to do with our sins.
1. WHAT ARE THE CHALLENGES OF THIS GOSPEL IN TODAY'S SOCIETY PARTICULARLY TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE LIKE YOU?
ReplyDeleteThis Gospel teaches each and every one of us about the act of Forgiveness to one another for it is a fact that each and every individual in this planet is a sinner who is probably going to sin again. God gives us forgiveness even when we don’t deserve it. That is the great sacrifice God gives us every day just like he did on the cross
2. WHAT KEY CONCEPTS FROM THE REVALIDA TOPICS CAN YOU BEST APPLY HERE.DISCUSS THOROUGHLY.
Based from our topic from the REVALIDA about our human Conscience. We can use it as a guide to not fall into the devil’s temptation, although we may fall still be tricked into temptation. It is our Job to learn from our mistakes
3. HOW CAN THIS GOSPEL ADDRESS THE OBSTACLES TO HUMAN SEXUALITY
I believe that obstacles related to Human Sexuality should be treated equally whether one individual has a different sexuality our not. Even though this may be an issue in the bible about the same sex marriage, we must remember to still treat each other equally for we are still children’s of God
